by Faithful-n-Discreet Wife inthis time last year i met the man of my dreams...he was incredibly smart and charming...he was in tune with me...he made me feel like i was the best thing that ever happened to him.
at first he was a little shy...he didn't think anyone of my caliber would even give him a chance...conveniantly though i had my run of bad guys...and wanted someone different.
he was a devout christian...and i had been yearning for years for some direction.

wow, as an ex witless, i have been on both sides of this issue, counselor and ex witless now.
He is abusive, and regardless of his religion, actually its worse if hes a jw, i can tell you that to him you probably now repersent a lie or sin in his life that he has to live with, secret dins and the like.
That is the way of the wtbs mentallity, and the relationship is based on sex, something very many of witlesses do!!!!
He struggles with his crazy guilt riddled conscience, trying to be the perfect witness, and nobody can do that, so he acts out his frustration on the closest person around,YOU!!!!!!!!
That and he is a spinless jerk, that abuses the only person who is loving and devoted to him, YOU!!!
I have seen it a hundred times, while i served, you need to dump him and get a real relationship, one who treats you like you deserve!

by GetOverIt ini got a call from my friend last night who has a friend who is a jw, who just married her daughter's father.
her daughter is a teenager now, but i guess she needed s-x so got the most available man she could so she could stay in the "truth" anyway.
my friend's, friend (the jw) called her and started going on and on about how her husband wants o s-x but she's not supposed to do it.

by purplesofa inwhen i first came to this board, i was mesmerized at the knowledge.
people had ideas and thoughts and voiced them and did it quite well.. i was a witness, i hardly read more than a paragraph at a time.....stopped, answered a planned out question in the paragraph, highlighted and went on.. formulating my own thoughts was one thing, but getting them typed out was another.. i saw all sorts of opionions thrown out there, debates, bantering back and forth........i was impressed to say the least and yes, intimidated.. them there posters had some balls and i wanted some too.. i was careful not to post things too controversial as to not make waves........i got my feelings hurt alot, said i was never going to post again, went stomping off.
licked my wounds did some soul searching and came back.

I sent a card
by mrsjones5 into the person who was my exfiance expressing my sympathy for his loss.
asked the hubby what he thought of me doing that and he thought it was a nice thing to do.
